Genesis 5:1-2

Wow this book has been incredible. I have learned so much in such a little time. That is why I wanted to share with you some of the information that I am learning.

In Genesis 5:1-2 God is showing us that Adam and Eve were created as one (named Adam). It was the first marriage ceremony and God was the officiant. Can you imagine getting married and having God preform the wedding.

I think that it would mean more to some people if they remembered that God is there and the pastor is just acting in place of God.

God created man and women to be one.

On that Day God took two and made them one. What could ever split them apart? Today we split because of many different things yet when God make us one he commands that we stay one.

I like this, because my wife and I are one. We chose each day to be one. Not allowing anyone or anything to come between us. Jesus said the only reason for divorce is fornication. The reason for that is because the bond made through intimacy between husband and wife is broken when fornication happens.  As for me and my wife we will chose to keep our marriage as one bonded through love and relaying on God. What will you chose?
