Good morrning. I am excited about today. I get to hang out with my wife and child. But what I don’t understand is why I am stressed out over money. Why God. Why money. I Just want you too take control of my life. Free me of the pain I feel with having money issues. Lord I love you am I am glad that you are here with me. Lord bless my family. Keep us safe and lead us into your will.

As I was reading today I was kinda hit in the face with this statement. I know I have heard that God lives out side of time but our day is one thousand years and one thousands years is one day. God told Adam in Genesis 2:17 that if he was to eat from the tree that he would surly die. Now lets look at what happened.

That day Adam hid from God and was moved out of the garden. Then his life moves on and on Adam has kids, he grows old until Adam is nine hundred and thirty years old and he dies. I think I missed this every time I have read it.

Adam Dies. Okay I knew that part. But what I did not grab was that Adam dies the same day that he ate of the fruit according to God’s time. Can you say Wow.

Also in today’s reading we see that Adam before he dies has a son who brings the family back to God named Seth.

Seth means appointed.

Seth has a son named Enos.

Enos Means subject to death.

Enos has a son named Cainan which means sorrowful.

Today is a good day to know this. I now understand that Jesus will return in his timing. Think back to when Jesus was here and he said Only the father know when I will return. Well Jesus has only been gone about two maybe three days. No one will know the time or place of his return. I am waiting in exception for that day, Are you?

Wow this book has been incredible. I have learned so much in such a little time. That is why I wanted to share with you some of the information that I am learning.

In Genesis 5:1-2 God is showing us that Adam and Eve were created as one (named Adam). It was the first marriage ceremony and God was the officiant. Can you imagine getting married and having God preform the wedding.

I think that it would mean more to some people if they remembered that God is there and the pastor is just acting in place of God.

God created man and women to be one.

On that Day God took two and made them one. What could ever split them apart? Today we split because of many different things yet when God make us one he commands that we stay one.

I like this, because my wife and I are one. We chose each day to be one. Not allowing anyone or anything to come between us. Jesus said the only reason for divorce is fornication. The reason for that is because the bond made through intimacy between husband and wife is broken when fornication happens. As for me and my wife we will chose to keep our marriage as one bonded through love and relaying on God. What will you chose?

When we don’t put God first we have no chance to make it in this life.

Being a Christian is a growing process

As we move through the levels with God his question is always are you still going to love me. Do you still trust me. Put God first.

If God took a way your joy the thing you look forward to each week, would you be okay with that?

Dreams connected to real life

The other night I had a dream that I had to jump out of a plane to prove I wasn’t scared of heights. People told me that I couldn’t do it because they knew my fear would take over. So, to prove them wrong, I had to do it. The exhilaration was neat and I found that I enjoyed parachuting very much.

Last night I had another dream of having to prove myself. This time, I had to prove I was not scared of needles. So, I did something I know I will never do in real life (because they are just not my thing). I got a tattoo. This too, led to a new habit.

Anyway, I woke up and thought of how this seems to relate to my life. Back in 2003, I did my very first mission trip and this sparked something in me, you can say I was addicted. (Though I know it isn’t an addiction at all, it is just something God placed on my heart.) I did a couple other short mission trips after that and they made my heart burn for more! I know that I am called to long term and am just waiting at the starting line for God to pull the trigger.

In 2009, I got to experience first hand what it’s like to be away from “home” for longer than 2 months (longest I had ever been away from home) by going on The World Race. I had many people doubt I would ever raise enough money to go in the first place, others tell me that it was a bad decision and that I needed to grow up and take on responsibilities of life around me here in the USA. And though those comments hurt, I wasn’t going on the race because I wanted to. I was going on the race because God told me to and I was being obedient.

I am now going to Bolivia, and it seems like I have less people behind me and more people telling me what I NEED to do. I want you all to know that I have prayed for countless days about this and never made a decision to go until God confirmed it. I just want to be obedient to my Father.

Know that I love all of you and am thankful that you all want to make sure I make right decisions in my life. I understand where your heart is coming from. But I want you to know that we all need to be obedient to God no matter the risk. I want you to be behind me and support me.

As I lay here in my bed thinking of everything I could have been or should I say done. I feel the need to ask for forgiveness. From who I don’t know. I failed you I feel like. I wanted so much to see my Lord will come to fulfillment. Did I rush it, was(is) this training for what is to come. Oh Lord my God everything I worked so hard on is (has) fallen apart. Lord was this all in vain. Father you have told me time and time again to be still, and this time I thought that you said move go now is the time. Was I hearing you or was that my will so loud I could not hear your wisper calling out saying peace be still.

What do I do now? I have steped away. I am pulling back. I want you more then ever to move in my life. I’m sorry please lord forgive me for taking the road I have. Use all the chuncks of junk and make them into a master peice. Lord how I want to know you. Keep me in your loving hands and hold me and my family up.

Oh so ture not my will but thy will be done. I miss you and love you. Peace be still.
